Subhalakshmi A. Panse has been the Chairman and Managing Director of Allahabad Bank since October 2012. Smt. Panse served as General Manager of FM&A at Bank of Maharashtra Ltd., and served as its General Manager.

She served as an Executive Director of Vijaya Bank Ltd. from November 20, 2009 to October 2012. She has over 33 years of illustrious banking experience accredited with several rewards and recognition in diverse fields. She has wide exposure and expertise in diverse disciplines like credit management, recovery, treasury and information technology at various levels in several locations in the country in Bank of Maharashtra. Smt. Panse is a Gold medalist in M.Sc. from Pune University and also holds an MBA from Drexel University, USA.
